As the CFTC evaluates everything in the commodities futures world, they will be coming to a conclusion concerning the margin requirements for precious metals this month.
This announcement will override anything the CME has put out, and will be the new standard.
Some are saying this will mark the end of the manipulation within the precious metals market, others say it will be the beginning of a new global manipulation.
December 1st 2010 has come and gone, and there was no change announced by the CFTC. Another key date that little birds have been chirping is December 16th. We have not been able to find an official announcement date so metals investors need to stay on their toes and pay attention to the market.
If there is a sudden drastic change in precious metals prices, research the headlines and look for any changes made coming out of the CFTC.
